About

Born in Bogota, Colombia, David Holguín came to the United States at the age of two and has call Highland Park, Los Angeles home ever since. At a young age, David was inspired to become an actor and found refuge on stage as an actor thespian. His artistic evolution continued into playing the guitar blending flamenco technique with Latin jazz, salsa, cumbia, and world-music influences. . As conservatory-trained musician, Holguín developed his craft through self-study, mentorship and countless travels across the United States and Spain to absorb the lifestyle of traveling Gypsies – infusing a traveling culture that brings life to where he laid his hat.

Holguín is best known as the founder and director of Flamenco Souls, a group that began as a small ensemble dedicated to David’s eclectic style.

Today, David has rebranded and recreated the vision of his band to The Latiniti Infinit Band, with his trusted arranger and composer Mauro Hernandez and Sevan Kendir giving much musical structure to the repertoire his band exudes today.
